If you’re looking for the Parisian handbag brands French girls actually wear, then keep reading for a list of the 12 under-the-radar labels that nail the French girl aesthetic.
It was only last year that I really started to take an interest in high-quality handbag brands. I was looking to expand my collection, and wanted to invest in handbags that would stand the test of time.
And so, my search for the perfect handbag began.
I’ve always loved the effortless aesthetic that French girls just seem to be born with. Naturally, as with their wardrobe, I was drawn to their handbag choices, and for good reason. Parisian handbags carry that certain je ne sais quoi– effortless elegance, quiet luxury, and timeless design all wrapped into one.
Over the years, many of these Parisian handbags brands made their way onto my wishlist. I’ve even had the pleasure of owning a few, and today, I’m excited to share some of my favorite finds with you.
You’ll notice that a lot of the pieces and items I recommend show up again and again throughout my blog—and that’s intentional. I value quality over quantity and only share items I truly love and genuinely stand by.
Now, let’s take a look at my favorite Parisian handbag brands that truly define effortless French style.
What Are The Best Parisian Handbag Brands?
We all know that Paris is home to iconic handbag houses like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, and Hermès. However, this list spotlights 12 elevated brands that offer something a little different from the luxury labels we see every day.
I love going beyond what everyone else is wearing, to find the lesser-known hidden gems. Especially when it comes to the French handbag world, where there are so many talented designers.
Most of these brands fall within the $500-$1200 price range. So if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, I recommend you check out my 9 affordable French handbag brands that are worth bookmarking.

Structured Parisian Handbags for Everyday Style
In this post, we are going to breakdown the Parisian handbag brands by style— everyday bags, bags with a more flirty & feminine feel, and Parisian bags with a more modern look.
I’ve curated this list with enough variety to suit every style, no matter what type of bag you’re looking for. Without further ado, let’s get into the 12 Parisian handbag brands I love!
Fleuron

This brand popped up on my radar a few months ago, and I haven’t been able to get them out of my head.
Fleuron Paris is one of those brands that just… gets it. Everything from the design to the structure to the quality is absolute perfection, and they are the epitome of a quiet luxury brand. There is no obvious branding, no in-your-face logos or designs, just classic, timeless silhouettes you’re going to reach for everyday.
I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on one of their bags, the Mini Hortensia in a beautiful Bordeaux color, and I couldn’t stop the compliments if I tried. My favorite part about this bag is easily the gold petal clasp, it is just so unique and I’ve never seen anything like it.

I also love the pebbled leather as I don’t have to worry too much about scratching, and can use it as a more frequented bag.
Easily one of my favorite Brands on this list, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Oak or Trinity bags next!
Léo et Violette

Another Parisian handbag brand that is the new French girl obsession. Léo et Violette is a Parisian chic brand that creates the most stunning, timeless bags.
This brand absolutely captures that refined, modern aesthetic—polished and low-key at the same time. What I love most about their bags are that the shapes are clean and structured, and the hardware is minimal. I love that their collection hosts a blend of leather and suede options, and they have the most beautiful color palette.

Le Laurance is one of their most iconic styles, and it’s easy to see why. You can dress this beauty up or down, with an office look, going out, or even a little date night. It is such a versatile style and I’m obsessed.
Next on my list, though, is definitely The Gianni. Or maybe the Le Duo Shopper tote. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind owning the entire collection.
Lancaster Paris

Next up, we have another gorgeous Parisian handbag brand: Lancaster Paris. This is one of those brands that hasn’t blown up just yet, but is definitely going to.
I absolutely adore this brand because they have different style bags for every mood. For example, their Rattan collection is (so) beautiful for more everyday, casual or vacation wear. But then they have an elevated, dainty bag collection which you can dress up from day to night.
The Sac Besace is one of my favorite styles that they make, and I’ve had my eye on it for months. It’s made in a Matelassé style that gives off the look of many high-end designers, and is the epitome of European elegance. I also adore the Petit Sac Polochon, which is pictured on the model above.

My favorite thing about this brand, though, has to be their extremely accessible price points. They range from $100-$275 for their handbags, and their bags are 100% cowhide leather. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if they drastically increase their prices within the next year or two!
Nat & Nin

Nat & Nin is one of those brands that may not have crossed your radar, but should be on it. One of the things I adore most about this Parisian handbag brand is how homey and girl-next-door their bags look and feel.
They have this understated look to them which seamlessly adapt into a girl’s everyday routine, making them the perfect bag for daily life, errands, coffee runs, on-the-go meetings, and more. All of their bags are real, high-quality leather and they are beyond reasonable when it comes to pricing.
My favorites are the Tina (pictured above), I love the slouchy but practical look of this bag. The subtle logo on the bottom is a beautiful touch without being too in your face, which I appreciate. For a more structured look, you can’t go wrong with the Alice or the or the Rejina, both bestsellers.
Nat & Nin bags are built to last over time, so if you’re looking for a forever bag, this brand is the way to go.
Parisian Handbags for a Feminine, Everyday Look
Fauvette

Ah, one of my long-time favorite Parisian handbag brands. Fauvette is one of those timeless brands you’ll find yourself coming back to, adding piece after piece, year after year.
This brand screams feminine elegance, everything from their design to the unique designs of the gold hardware that keeps the bags closed and secure. The designers thoughtfully craft every detail, and I haven’t seen another brand (yet) try to mimic their style—which makes it perfect if you’re looking for something more unique!
I love their signature floral clasps, the Adèle bag has to be one of my favorites and I am currently eyeing it in the chocolate croc color… it is to die for. The Rosie bag is another favorite of mine, such a romantic bag with the elongated rectangle shape and the beautiful rose gilded clasp.
If you’re looking for a more ‘Parisian classic’ handbag, then the Josephine bag is perfect for you. It is more structured but still keeps its elegant roots— perfect for the girl who exudes soft femininity meets powerhouse energy.

You can’t go wrong with any of Fauvette’s staple handbags. They are beautifully crafted and perfect for anyone lookin to channel those elegant Parisian vibes!
Elleme

Okay, I seriously cannot stop raving about Elleme. This brand just gets it—like, if you’re after that effortlessly chic, Parisian vibe with bags that feel luxe but never overdone, Elleme is where it’s at.
So first, let’s talk about the styles. The Dimple tote is one of my favorites of this brand. It’s absolutely gorgeous, the leather is so soft and malleable, and it’s so ridiculously practical! The roomy interior is perfect for fitting all your essentials without making it look like you’re carrying your entire life around.
Elleme’s whole collection is full of winners. Whether you’re rocking the Raisin for a polished work look, the Trousse for weekend vibes, or the oh-so-practical Dimple when you need to carry a little more, there is a bag for every occasion, which I love.
But let’s talk about my personal fave—the Boomerang. I managed to snag it in that chocolate suede brownie color (which was sold out for months, btw), and let me tell you, it was everything. The suede was so buttery soft, and that rich, deep brown was just chef’s kiss.
The gold hardware on the Boomerang on top was the showstopper. It’s this beautifully plated gold bag handle, that feels and looks so luxurious, I still can’t get over it whenever I wear it out.
Clare V

I discovered this Parisian handbag brand not too long ago, and I really admire their minimal woven approach.
Clare V bags all have a very uniform look to them, you just know when you catch a glimpse of one out on the street! What I love most about these handbags is how they give off a slouchy, everyday feel, while still keeping their feminine look intact.
I’m particularly obsessed with the Petit Moyen in the color dove puffy, such a classic piece. I see myself wearing this to the office, a girlfriend’s birthday dinner, or even running errands. It’s such a versatile bag for everyday wear.
The Moyen Messenger is another classic piece I’m a huge fan of! It’s larger than the Petit Moyen, perfect for holding more like your water bottle, iPad, sunnies, and a few other girly essentials. I can’t wait to hopefully get my hands on one of Clare V’s bags so soon!
Rouje

Rouje Paris is one of my new favorite brands. It reminds me so much of Sézane in that they carry a wide range of items, with handbags being one of them. And although Rouje isn’t exclusively a handbag brand, they carry some of the chicest bags I’ve ever seen.
Their handbags come in a variety of styles. For example, they do the Panier or ‘beach woven bags’ so well, and my favorite has to be Panier Bise. It is so elegant and I love the shell-like handle at the top- perfect for the beach.
Their prices are also relatively affordable, which makes me love this brand so much more.
Some of my other favorites from Rouge Paris include the Sac 90’s, Sac Big particularly in the zebra suede, the Sac Le J, and last but not least, the Sac Allure (arguably my favorite, pictured above).
I have my eye on the Sac Allure and Sac Big in zebra suede, and can’t wait to get my hands on it once they come back in stock!
Rouje also carries these gorgeous belts that I’m absolutely obsessed with. They would make the perfect addition to any simple outfit.
Sleek Parisian Handbags with a Modern Edge
RSVP Paris

I recently discovered this stunning Parisian brand, and when I say I’ve never seen a handbag brand that more perfectly embodies the contemporary French woman aesthetic, I mean it.
RSVP Paris draws inspiration from the art of French living and maintains the highest level of craftsmanship. Designers in France create the bags, and skilled artisans in Italy craft them using elite-quality leather.
And can we also appreciate the gorgeous colors these bags come in?! From neutrals to pastels, berry tones, and bolds, it’s like having a bag for every mood.
I have the Munchkin bag in the gorgeous cognac, and can confidently say this cute little number goes with everything and I get complimented on her everywhere we go! My sister has the golden eyes, and it is also to die for.
RSVP releases all of its handbags in numbered editions of 500. When you treat yourself to an RSVP bag, you know you’re always getting a limited edition.
Once a style is sold out, it is never re-issued. So yes, this is absolutely your sign to get your hands on one of their gorgeous bags right now!
Le Tanneur

Timeless design and expert craftsmanship are what set Le Tanneur apart. Whether you’re looking for a polished tote for the office or a refined clutch for an evening out, Le Tanneur has a piece that makes you feel like you just stepped out onto the streets of Paris.
Le Tanneur demonstrates its commitment to quality by crafting every bag with full-grain leather and thoughtful detailing.
One of my favorite touches is the subtle ‘T’ charm that hands from many of their designs. It’s such an understated signature and instantly recognizable once you know what to look for.
Right now, I’m especially loving the Émilie Medium Handbag in the signature T cowhide—I have it in classic Black. It’s such a stunning piece, and I’m so glad I scooped it up this year. I wear it with just about everything, and the gold ‘T’ detail pairs perfectly with my everyday jewelry.
P.S. You can check out my full review of the Émilie Medium here!
I currently have my eyes on the Elena large tote, and cannot wait to get my hands on it later this year.
Michino Paris

Michino Paris is one of those brands that quietly stands out in the best way. It’s luxury, yes, but in that understated you-have-to-ask-me-what-bag-this-is kind of way.
What I appreciate most about this brand is the story behind it. The founder, Yasu Michino, was born in Tokyo, studied in New York, and trained in Paris… and you can feel that blend in every design he creates.
There’s something so beautiful about the mix: the clean, origami-like structure (very Japanese), the creative edge (hello, New York), and the classic, understated luxury (oh so Parisian). It’s rare to see all three come together so seamlessly, but Michino does it beautifully.
I’m personally obsessed with the Lutece Mini style. They come in so many stunning colors, and despite its modern shape, it somehow still feels timeless. It’s the kind of bag that turns heads without doing the most, and I always get asked about it whenever I wear it.
If you love bags that are just a little unexpected, Michino Paris is 100% worth a spot in your rotation. It’s a bit of a splurge but trust me, it’s worth it and it will last you through the years.
Ephyre

If Paris had a handbag mascot, I’m pretty sure it would be Ephyre. This Parisian handbag brand is the embodiment of what it means to be a French girl, and I’m so here for it.
With the checkered patterns, soft shapes, and subtle gold accents, Ephyre gives you that perfectly undone aesthetic.
I love that the bags give off that vintage and romantic feel, hitting that sweet spot French brands seem to nail every time.
Let’s take a look at the Claude backpack, for example. It’s playful, nostalgic, and so lightweight it feels like a second skin. The green vichy print is giving South of France summer or Paris in the fall! It makes you want to ride a vintage bike through Le Marais, and I’m living for it.
Final Thoughts
If you couldn’t tell by now… I have a bit of a thing for Parisian and French handbags.
There’s just something about the way French brands do it— effortless, elevated, and never trying too hard. Whether you’re drawn to the minimalism of Léo et Violette, the soft romance of Rouje, or the craftsmanship of heritage houses like Le Tanneur, every brand on this list has or will earn its spot in my wardrobe (and honestly, my heart).
These are the bags I’d wear on repeat, the ones that make getting dressed up feel all the more worth it.
Whether you’re building your dream handbag collection or just looking for that one perfect piece, I hope this helped you discover a few new favorites! And if your wishlist suddenly got a little longer… same.
