As much as I love browsing Sézane’s latest collections, I also love discovering new brands that channel a similar vibe. I’m especially drawn to brands that prioritize tailoring, use high-quality fabrics, and have that “timeless elegance” we all look for in a chic wardrobe.

Splitting my time between New York and Europe for work, I’ve built up a list of my favorite French & European-inspired brands that are similar to Sézane. I’ve included a mix of brands in this post, with most pieces coming in at under $250, and others with items that are more of an investment. So just keep that in mind as you’re browsing!

Whether you’re looking to expand your closet beyond Sézane, or simply want more options in the European-inspired space, I’ve rounded up 24 brands like Sézane worth adding to your style rotation.

And if you want to know which Sézane pieces I personally own and wear on repeat, check out my European clothing brands post, where I go deep on my actual favorites!

24 Brands Like Sézane to Shop Now

The brands featured on this list are a mix of European and US-based brands. I tried to keep the price ranges similar to Sézane, with most of the brands I mention falling anywhere between $170-$250, and some falling below and above that range.

So, without further ado, let’s get into it. On y va!

Balzac Paris

Kicking off our list of brands like Sézane, we have Balzac Paris. They started as a small, sustainable Parisian label and now offer a full ready-to-wear collection that is just so classic.

Their knits are beautiful and cozy, and I love that they put sustainability at the heart of what they do. Every item has detailed notes on its environmental impact, which is such great info to have about the pieces you’re buying!

I recently added one of their classic striped shirts to my wardrobe, and it has quickly become a staple. This Lenor Shirt is also gorgeous. I am also obsessed with these cognac sandals with gold buckles, and just purchased them last summer! They are one of my favorite shoes to wear in Europe.

Petite Mendigote

This is a brand I love, and will keep recommending over and over again. They create feminine silhouettes with an effortless elegance, designing for the modern women who embrace a Parisian style.

The Astrid Dress in ecru (pictured below) is so feminine and beautiful. I just love the tied neck bow in the back, and the cotton embroidery throughout. Some other pieces I adore are the Ornella Trench in the Olive green. This is such a beautiful coat, and reminds me so much of my Sézane Scott Trench! I’m also a huge fan of the Orelia short suede jacket, will reminds me a lot of the Will Jacket from Sézane as well.

My favorite part, though, about Petite Mendigote is their impeccable quality. They use natural materials like cotton for most of their clothes, and (surprisingly!) their pricing is very affordable for the quality you’re getting. I could not recommend a brand more!

Rouje Paris

Founded by French It-girl Jeanne Damas, Rouje is one of those brands that perfectly captures the modern-day Parisian vibe.

I love how the pieces feel vintage-inspired but still wearable today. Some of my favorite items from this brand are their silky wrap dresses and button-down skirts. I recently purchased the Palmyra shirt in the gorgeous pistachio color, and every time I wear it out I get tons of compliments. The fabric feels so beautiful on the skin, too. Size wise, I’m typically between a 36 and 38 but I sized up to a 38 in this shirt, and I’m glad I did.

Some other tops I tried on and loved are the Venus top, which has such a beautiful feel to it, the Shona top in lilac and the Judith top.

I’m also obsessed with their accessories!! Their handbags, shoes, and belts are everything. I gifted my sister the Roso belt (pictured below) for Christmas last year, and she absolutely loved it. She wears it all the time, as it’s so versatile to style with different outfits! You can find my review of Rouje handbags here.

Soeur

Soeur is another brand like Sézane that really grew on me the more I explored it. They are known for their understated elegance, and do relaxed, slightly oversized tailoring really well. Think asymmetric blouses, dresses, and pullovers or cardigans that look and feel like they belong in a chic Parisian’s closet.

The color palettes are soft and neutral, and the fabrics always feel beautiful on the skin. I picked up the Dalina pullover and the Emma asymmetric dress last year, and they’ve both become go-to pieces in my wardrobe. If you love a mix of oversized and feminine styling, Soeur is a must-shop!

Posse

I recently discovered Posse and absolutely adore them. This Australian label, now warehousing in the US, creates vintage-inspired, “quiet luxury” pieces that are hard to resist.

If you’re looking for good matching sets, or some linen or knit pieces for the warmer months, Posse should be your go-to brand. What I love about this label is that they focus heavily on premium and breathable fabrics, including European flax linen and organic cotton.

Some of my current favorite pieces are the Miles short (I just ordered them, pictured below), the Darya dress, which is a beautiful linen/cotton blend, and the Bowie skirt, which is such a fun summer addition. While these pieces are definitely more of investment, you’ll have them in your wardrobe for years to come.

Rosaé Paris

Rosaé Paris is a beautiful, feminine and refined brand that feels quietly luxurious. It’s effortless, feminine, and unmistakably French. Founded by Parisian, Claire Teixeira, the brand was born out of her desire to create a timeless, everyday wardrobe made from beautiful, natural fabrics.

Most of their pieces are crafted from organic cotton, linen, or merino wool, and the quality is instantly noticeable. I’m absolutely obsessed with the shape and style of their pieces, I haven’t seen anything quite like it before with other brands. Every piece is so uniquely structured, making every Rosaé Paris item a showstopper.

I have the Le Jamyn top, and immediately feel like I’m in a Parisian gallery every time I wear it. It’s just beautiful. Some other favorites of mine include the Le Maestro frilled collar trench coat, which is the ultimate early spring/fall statement piece. This is truly a WOW piece. Rosaé hits that same sweet spot as Sézane, but with a more refined, subtle edge.

Mint Velvet

Mint Velvet is one of the chicest brands I have ever seen. If you haven’t heard of this brand, you need to RUN not walk.

Everything about this brand is my favorite. From their tops and dresses to their shoes, accessories and co-ords, Mint Velvet nails that perfect blend of relaxed and refined. Their pieces just have this ‘effortless elegance’ to them. Think flowy blouses with embroidery or beautiful patterns, structured denim pieces including tops, skirts, and dresses, and accessories you can wear that transition beautifully from day to night.

It’s a great option if you love pieces that are subtle but still stand out from the regular “plain white top” vibe, Mint Velvet is a brand I turn to when I want to feel comfortable and put-together at the same time.

Alex Mill

Alex Mill is another brand like Sézane I recently came across, and if you’re into the whole elevated basics and classic shirting vibe, you’ll love this brand. Originally founded to create the “perfect shirt“, the brand has now expanded into timeless, everyday staples.

What I love about this brand is that they prioritize high-quality natural fibers, including linen, cotton, cashmere, and wool fabrics. They focus on high-quality everyday staples that allow you to build a long-lasting capsule wardrobe. Some of my favorite pieces from this brand are, of course, their shirts. In particular, I love the Jo shirts, which are all 100% cotton and come in so many different colors and striped styles.

The Marie Dress in linen is another beautiful piece, which is a closet staple that will never go out of style! I also adore this Bella Cardigan in cotton cashmere. The ruffles running alongside the hems are such a chic and delicate detail.

Musier Paris

Musier Paris has that cool, minimalist French-girl aesthetic down perfectly. Their pieces always have thoughtful details like a twist in the fabric, an unexpected neckline, a fringe detail, or an asymmetric hem—all of which makes this brand feel special.

I tend to reach for their minimalistic tops when I want to look polished but not overdressed. I’m also a big fan of their dresses, which usually include elements like asymmetry, drapes, fringes, and ruffles. The brand is great for those pieces you’ll keep reaching for season after season, and I find the quality to be excellent for the price point.

If you’re looking for a brand that is très chic and French-girl effortless, Musier Paris is the one.

Lazzari

Wow. We truly need to take a moment for Lazzari because what a gorgeous, chic clothing brand.

I heard about this brand through word-of-mouth, and after visiting their site (and placing a HUGE order, mind you), I now wonder why they don’t have more recognition. Although, I reckon it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing them everywhere.

Made and crafted in Italy, Lazzari has this sort of undone yet structured look about all of their pieces, with slightly oversized silhouettes and boxy cuts, mixed in with details like marinière collars, cotton broderie anglaise, puff sleeves, lace blends, and many more beautiful attributes.

Some of the pieces that immediately caught my eye were the Sailor cotton top, the ruffled collar trench coat, this bell sleeves cotton top, and these stunning round toe Mary Janes. (did I just write out my entire order? perhaps).

& Other Stories

Another brand like Sézane that I love is & Other Stories. This is one of my go-to brands for those affordable, instantly wearable pieces that still feel designer. Over the years, I have accumulated so many pieces from this brand, with their knitwear being some of my favorite.

Their collections always feel fresh and on-trend, which makes browsing their site a weekly habit of mine. & Other Stories is similar to Sézane in that they carry a range of clothing items, but also sprinkle in classic accessories like bucket hats, bags, and jewelry that complete all of their looks. They also both have the same laid-back, everyday chic look.

If you’re interested in a more in-depth review of & Other Stories and the pieces I own from this brand, check out my European clothing brands article!

Dôen

Dôen is one of my go-to brands when I want something a bit more romantic and vintage-inspired than Sézane. Their designs often feature puff sleeves, delicate prints, and soft, high-quality fabrics that feel both nostalgic and fresh.

They are definitely on the higher end of the brands on this list, if not the highest. However, after owning one of their pieces, I can confidently say they are a brand worth saving up for.

I just picked up the Adrienne Dress from this brand (after saving for it for a while), and it is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. The quality is unmatched and I absolutely love the cotton voile and appliqué lace details throughout. It feels like a true investment piece, yet still fits seamlessly into my summer wardrobe, year after year.

Maison 123

Maison 123 is one of those quiet French brands that does everything right. I’m surprised they’re not more popular in the US, but they have a very well-known and established presence across Europe.

What I love about this brand is that, similar to Sézane, they carry a full ready-to-wear collection — blouses, dresses, knitwear, denim, shoes, bags, and accessories. Prices are very accessible compared to Sézane, which makes it a great option if you love the aesthetic but want to stretch your budget further!

A few pieces I’m absolutely obsessed with right now: the Darla top, a fluid viscose sleeveless top with the most chic polka dot print, which is very in at the moment. I’m also loving the Delhi blouse, a 100% cotton top with delicate flutter sleeves and embroidered details. And then we have the Voltige jacket, which is a beautifully embroidered cotton jacket in ecru that I could totally see sitting in Sézane’s collection!

Lisa Says Gah

If the rest of this list leans into classic Parisian elegance, Lisa Says Gah is the fun, expressive pick that adds some personality to the mix.

Where Sézane is timeless and refined, Lisa Says Gah is all about individuality and playfulness. Designed in Los Angeles, their collections are full of bold prints, unexpected color combinations, and pieces that come alive. Some pieces I’m currently obsessed with the Jenny Short Sleeve Dress in Dove, a 100% cotton babydoll mini with a point collar, center bow, and tiered hem. The Mari Sweater in pistachio and mocha stripe is equally adorable, with a boat neckline and bell sleeves on a cropped fit!

If you love a wardrobe that mixes classics with fun, you’ll want to bookmark this one.

Rouri

Let’s talk about one brand I can’t stop thinking about: Rouri. If Sézane is your go-to for French wardrobe staples, Rouri is its Spanish Mediterranean counterpart that you need in your closet immediately.

Designed and made in Spain, Rouri specializes in timeless linen pieces with a quietly elegant, sun-drenched aesthetic. Think effortless dresses, beautifully detailed blouses, and relaxed skirts, all crafted in breathable, high-quality linen with limited quantities per piece.

A few of my current favorites: the Helena Dress in stone is the ultimate warm-weather dress, the Laguna Blouse has the most gorgeous pintuck detailing and puffed sleeves, and the Kate Skirt in white is a summer essential I keep coming back to.

Also worth bookmarking: their Unique Pieces section, which features one-of-a-kind and limited items that sell out fast. You’ll want to keep an eye on this page because they have beautiful, intricate pieces like I’ve never seen before!

Gaâla Paris

Gaâla Paris is one of my new favorite obsessions. If you’re looking for a boutique that is all about feminine and dainty pieces, this will be your go-to brand.

They specialize in beautiful and high-end fabrics like linens and cottons, and are known for their elegance and timeless styles. Although a bit on the pricier side, Gaâla uses up-cycled fabrics and even incorporate premium fabrics from renowned fashion houses, so you get what you pay for.

I love their quiet luxury collection, and sometimes they run really good sales so make sure to look out for those! One of my favorite pieces from this brand is the Barbie Corset Dress in the beautiful toile de juoy print. I’m also head over heels for the Estelle Button Down Dress with white heart, I think this is the most darling dress I’ve ever laid eyes on!

Christy Dawn

Similar to brands like Sézane, Christy Dawn’s commitment to sustainability was the first that drew me about this brand, but inevitably it was their dreamy silhouettes and prints that kept me around. This is such a romantic, feminine brand, perfectly reminiscent of strolling the streets of Italy with a gelato in hand.

Their vintage-inspired Dawn dress line is so darling and come in so many beautiful prints. The dresses are romantic and flowy without being shapeless. I have the dawn in the beautiful blueberry dot color (pictured below, no longer available), and the amount of compliments I receive every time I wear it is insane.

I live in my dawn dress all summer long, and I can’t wait to add another print to my wardrobe. When I want a dress that feels special and eco-minded, this is the one.

Artknit Studios

Artknit Studios is one of those brands that makes you want to rethink your entire wardrobe. This Italian label is all about timeless knitwear and wardrobe staples crafted from 100% natural materials by Italian makers, and every single piece feels like something you’ll be reaching for ten years from now.

Unlike Sézane’s romantic French aesthetic, Artknit Studios leans more minimal and understated, but the quality and intention behind each piece is just as strong. I’ve been eyeing the Organic Cotton Lightweight Cardigan in milk white, the Linen Twill Long Dress, and the Linen Twill Shorts.

If you’re looking to build a high-quality capsule wardrobe with pieces you’ll wear on repeat, this is the brand to know.

La Ligne

La Ligne is the brand for stripes lovers. They have everything from classic Breton tees to striped knit dresses and luxe loungewear.

I may have a small obsession with their Mini Marin Sweater. The striped look is so subtle and I love the open knit mesh stitch work in this sweater, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Some of my other favorites include the Demi skirt in the beautiful lace silk, and their Denim collection. These are the kind of pieces that make you feel instantly chic.

Jenni Kayne

Known for its clean California aesthetic, Jenni Kayne is beloved for luxurious basics in elevated neutrals, so think: soft cashmere, structured knits, and timeless silhouettes.

I was first drawn in by the Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan, which is quite expensive, but truly lives up to the hype. It’s cozy, oversized, and super friendly as a layering piece. Another piece I’m loving is the Loma pullover, which screams effortless chic. I cannot wait to add this piece to my wardrobe.

If you love Sézane’s romantic side but want something more minimal and coastal, Jenni Kayne is the perfect balance of comfort, quality, and timeless style.

Tuckernuck

I now own so many pieces from Tuckernuck, it’s honestly hard to keep track! What started as a one-off order for a striped dress a few summers ago has slowly turned into a full-blown obsession. Tnuck has become my go-to for classic-leaning, preppy dresses that have a timeless, east-coast charm.

The Chambray Callahan Shirt Dress will forever be a favorite of mine. It’s the one I reach for on busy mornings when I still want to look pulled together, or for weekend brunches when I don’t feel like overthinking my outfit. I also adore their two-piece sets, they’re so classic, flattering, and feel like something you’d wear on a sunny weekend in the Hamptons.

Garmentory

Rather than a brand, Garmentory is a treasure trove of independent boutiques from around the globe. I’ve discovered so many small labels through their curated collections—one current favorite is the L’agence Idy Button Tank dress, which looks and feels runway-worthy. I also love these cropped high-rise jeans from Veronica Beard!

Garmentory is where I go when I want something truly unique and a little outside the mainstream. I love that they’re like an online department store of my favorite French brands!

Massimo Dutti

When I think of understated luxury at accessible prices, I think of Massimo Dutti. I have been shopping this brand for years, and they truly deliver when it comes to the quality of their pieces.

I particularly love their tops, which I’d describe as upscale business casual. You can dress up their tops for a work event, or style them more casually with jeans or flats for a dinner or a night-out-in-the-city look. Massimo Dutti has a very similar vibe to Zara (I believe they have the same parent company), but the quality is considerably better they are positioned more as a “premium” brand.

They also tend to use higher quality fabrics like linens and wools, which is what I’m prioritizing in my wardrobe right now.

Sessùn

Sessùn popped up on my radar not too long ago, but has quickly become my new favorite brand. Although a bit pricier than Sézane, their pieces, specifically dresses, are absolutely gorgeous.

I discovered the brand years ago in a tiny boutique in the Marais and have been hooked ever since. They are another sustainable brand, which I also love about them. Their pieces lean classic and chic, but there’s always a subtle detail or twist that makes them feel fresh, whether it’s an unexpected print, beautiful buttons, or perfectly placed seams. This red striped dress with an asymmetric strap is to die for!!

Final Thoughts

There’s no shortage of beautiful brands out there if you love the effortlessly chic, French or European-inspired style that Sézane does so well.

I’m always on the hunt for new favorites, so if you have a brand you love that gives you that Sézane feel, I’d love to hear about it.
