Have you ever heard the saying “money talks, wealth whispers”? It’s one of my favorite quotes, and in a world full of fleeting trends and logos, I’ve developed an appreciation for the subtle ‘quiet luxuries’ in life. Quiet luxury handbags are for the women who value quality over quantity, and personal style over passing trends.

I’ve somewhat recently become obsessed with the concept of ‘quiet luxury’, especially when it comes to the topic of handbags. As a handbag connoisseur (with a very humble collection), luxury labels have never particularly drawn me in.

I own one luxury bag from Louis Vuitton, which, I must say, I do love and get quite a bit of wear out of. I’ve filled the rest of my collection with beautiful, quiet luxury handbags I’ve come to know, love, and have recommended many times over throughout the years.

Today, I want to share some of my favorite quiet luxury handbag brands with you. Some of these you may have heard of, but my hope is that you’ll find at least 2-3 new brands you weren’t familiar with before.

So without further ado, let’s dive in. Here are some of my favorite quiet luxury handbags I believe every woman should know about and own at some point in her life!

Quiet Luxury Handbags You Need to Know

I truly believe that what makes a brand ‘quiet luxury’ lies in the details. When the leather is buttery soft, the lines are clean and structured, and the stitching is flawless — that’s quiet luxury to me.These handbag brands I’m about to introduce you to have mastered all of this.

Now, a little preface on what defines‘quiet luxury’ for this list: these brands prioritize design and materials above all else. While they may not rival the prices of high-end luxury brands, I would define them as mid-range (think anywhere from $600-$1000), with a few exceptions on each end!

If you’re looking for more budget-friendly options, I recommend checking out my affordable French handbag brands guide, as well as my Italian handbag brands article. So, without further ado, let’s get into the 12 quiet luxury handbag brands you absolutely need to know about.

Paris/64

quiet luxury handbags

Paris/64 is one of those quiet luxury handbag brands I was instantly blown away by the minute I saw their bags. Theyexude timeless luxury, and have some of the most unique and beautiful handbag styles I have ever seen.

This Spanish brand, started by Marìa and her husband in Barcelona, is all about bringing fashion, art, and design into the curation of their handbags. This is clear to see when you peruse the different shapes and styles of Paris/64 handbags.

Their most popular or ‘iconic’ piece, the Lumière bag (pictured above) is such a uniquely structured piece. I love how their bags always incorporate geometric shapes. This style also comes in so many beautiful colors and sizes, depending on your everyday usage and needs. My personal favorites are the Lumière in brown and the chocolate.

Some other styles I’m absolutely in love with are the Galope bags. These give me such ‘equestrian’ vibes with their saddle-like shape, horseshoe buckle, and elevated detailing. And probably my all time favorite, the Trocadéro bag in Burdeos. I have my eye on adding this bag next in my rotation!

I love that you also have the option to monogram your bag with your very own leather name tag! This is such a personalized add-on, and I wish more handbag brands had this option. You can purchase the leather name tag separately for $40 and use it as an accessory to hang off your bag… I love that!

Price range: $480–$640

Paris/64 bags are best for: The woman who wants an art-inspired bag that is one-of-a-kind and can be personalized with her own leather name tag.

The Horse

quiet luxury handbag brands

This is one of those ‘if you know you know’ brands. This bag embodies understated class. The Horse creates soft leather handbags that transition from daytime into night and work for most occasions.

My favorite part about The Horse handbags are their simplicity. Their incredible prices make it easy to invest in these handbags, and the unmatched quality makes you feel great about owning them.

The Horse constructs each of their bags from soft Italian leathers, and I love the pebbled leather styles best. The brand is known for their classic and probably most well-known (identifiable) bag, which is the Clementine bag. (Currently only available to US customers). This bag is giving the iconic Loewe puzzle bag + the row, at a MUCH more affordable price ($270). It is the epitome of a quiet luxury handbag, if you ask me!

Some other styles I enjoy from The Horse are the Friday bag, as it particularly draws me in with its classic crescent shape. It’s arguably the most versatile bag, and the coffee pebbled leather has to be my favorite color in the style. I also adore the Mini Lou bag. I just love the slouchiness of this bag and the four studded legs on the bottom.

Price range: $230–$270

The Horse bags are best for: The minimalist who wants quiet luxury on a budget — think Italian leather with a Loewe-adjacent aesthetic at a fraction of the price.

Strathberry

One of my new favorites brands, Strathberry does everything right when it comes to perfect, quiet luxury handbags. Each bag is handcrafted in Spain by artisans who also work with top-tier luxury houses.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Strathberry managed to capture the world’s attention with its unique and elegant designs, most notably its signature bar closure. This simple yet brilliant design gives their bags an architectural, instantly recognizable look without the need for a logo. Every time I see a woman carrying one of their bags, I know she has class!

My favorite styles from this brand have to be the classic Mosaic bag (pictured above). This one is just so iconic, and I love that it has their identifiable bar across the front flap. Some other styles I adore are the Mini Tote bag in the gorgeous burgundy croc, as well as the Barra Mini. This one reminds me so much of the Polène numero 9! ButI actually prefer this one more, to be honest.

If you love Strathberry as much as I do, you’ll want to check out my full guide to British bag brands — it’s packed with more hidden gems in this same vein.

Price range: $595–$845

Strathberry bags are best for: The quiet luxury lover who wants an instantly recognizable, investment-worthy structured bag.

Parisa Wang

Parisa Wang quiet luxury handbags

I have had my eyes on a Parisa Wang handbag for forever. This brand is literally ‘quiet luxury, refined’ (as stated on their website, and rightfully so). Socialites covet and wear their stylish bags, and the brand also creates some of the most perfect work bags.

Parisa Wang handcrafts their bags in New York from sustainably sourced leathers, and the brand showcases a ‘signature lock’ design—an elevated nod to vintage hardware from New York’s Madison Avenue. Can they be more iconic?

My personal favorite from this brand is the Grace top handle bag in the beautiful Parisian grey. This is such a classic bag, and I love everything about it including their signature lock design on the front. It’s beautiful and it’s also manufactured in the same factory as YSL bags.

The work-bag that is constantly sold out is their Gabrielle 35 Soft Top Handle bag. It’s spacious enough to fit up to a 13” laptop, features a roomy main compartment, two oversized exterior pockets, and a secure zip closure to keep your essentials organized on the go. It is easily one of the best work bags I’ve ever seen! And such high quality, too.

Some other styles I’ve been loving are the East-West tote (such a popular style right now across many brands), as well as the Gabrielle 27 Top Handle bag, which is the same tannery (leather) as Loro Piana!

Price range: $458–$678

Parisa Wang bags are best for: The woman who wants an elevated, sustainably made work bag with New York sophistication and designer-level craftsmanship.

ATP Atelier

quiet luxury handbags

ATP Atelier is one of my favorite quiet luxury handbag brands, and it’s not hard to see why.

This Italy-based brand creates bags that remind me of structured puzzle pieces, with a minimalistic edge. I’ve never encountered such distinctive designs that combine premium leather with accessible pricing. You’ll find their bags priced between $490-$1300 (quite a big range, I know!)

One of my favorite styles from ATP that’s been living in my head rent free is the Vadena Mandorla. It’s a soft, deconstructed mini pouch with dual short straps and a detachable crossbody, so you can wear it different ways depending on your mood. It’s definitely on the more affordable side, sitting at $490.

But if I could choose a bag off vibes alone, my personal pick would be the Liveri Tahini contrast stitch leather bag in black. It’s just so versatile and chic… and I’m a sucker for good shoulder bags. It sits slightly above the Vadena at $690. And right next to the Liveri is my favorite Pony hair hobo bag, which, I don’t think needs an explanation.

Then, we have probably the priciest (albeit, most stunning) bag from ATP Atelier: The Eira bag. At $820 in grained calf leather (and $990 in printed croco), the Eira is the epitome of quiet luxury energy. This bag features a sleek, elongated silhouette with ATP’s signature asymmetric swoosh flap, hand-painted edges, and contrast stitching that gives it a finish you wouldn’t expect at this price point.

Price range: $490–$990

ATP Atelier bags are best for: The woman who wants sculptural, logo-free Scandi-Italian design that feels distinctive and on-trend.

Savette

One of the most elegant handbag brands I’ve ever come across is Savette. Launched by Amy Zurek, a design veteran from brands like Khaite and The Row, Savette was destined for quiet luxury greatness. The signature detail of Savette bags is the elegant, sculptural hardware that doubles as a closure. Each bag is handcrafted in Italy, and the level of craftsmanship is unmatched.

In my opinion, Savette evening bags are the epitome ‘quiet luxury’ vibe. If I saw someone wearing this bag out to an upscale restaurant, I would know it’s a high quality bag, even without knowing the brand.

The Symmetry pochette has already become a cult favorite among fashion editors and insiders. It happens to my favorite bag from them as well. Not to mention, it comes in 20 beautiful colors as well as different materials. I especially love it in the Chartereuse suede — the color against the gold hardware is just perfection. And, they recently launched a new silhouette in the Symmetry collection called the Symmetry Trapeze… and I am simply losing sleep over it. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Another thing I LOVE about Savette is that their bags come in silver hardware options! So many brands default heavily to one metal that the other feels like an afterthought. Not Savette. In my opinion, their silver hardware bags are undeniably chic.

A Savette bag is the epitome of understated elegance. While yes, it is definitely an investment piece, it is an unadulterated style that you will use and treasure forever.

Price range: $1,080–$1,650+

Savette bags are best for: The true quiet luxury connoisseur who wants a handcrafted Italian investment piece with extraordinary hardware that fashion editors covet.

Lalage Beaumont

If you’re looking for a touch of classic and regal elegance, look no further than Lalage Beaumont. My favorite handbag brand for many years now, Lalage Beaumont is the epitome of quiet luxury.

This brand rivals the likes of Hermès and other designer / luxury labels. However, I personally prefer Lalage Beaumont over the bigger names, as they have what defines true “quiet luxury” to me.

The quality of a Lalage Beaumont bag is immediately apparent. Crafted in Italy from the finest leathers, they feature distinctive, elegant hardware and are available in a stunning array of colors. The Maya and Fonteyn bags have become signatures of the brand, loved for their classic shape (similar to those of well-known brands) and impeccable finish. I plan on adding the Maya Large Dolomite in tan to my collection soon. It is such a beautiful, classic closet staple.

This is a brand that represents a return to true elegance, offering investment pieces that will last you a lifetime. See some of my absolute favorites below.

Price range: $1,000–$1,400

Lalage Beaumont bags are best for: The woman who wants Hermès-level craftsmanship and 24k gold hardware without the waitlist, logo, or inflated price tag.

Liffner

Pushlock clutch Liffner

For my Scandinavian fashion lovers out there, Liffner is going to be your brand. Founded in Stockholm by Paulina Liffner von Sydow, this quiet luxury handbag brand is a testament to minimalism and purposeful design. Liffner handbags are produced in Italy and are made with the highest quality leathers.

Now, let’s actually talk about the design of the bags! Liffner bags are defined by their sculptural shapes and subtle yet unique hardware. I would even dare to say feel like wearable pieces of modern art. I love that all of the designs are free of logos, so the focus is really on the quality and silhouettes of their bags.

One of my favorite designs from this brand is the Leather Push-Lock Clutch. I just love how many colors and textures it comes in, especially the Chartreuse! This may actually be one of the most chic going out clutches I’ve ever seen! Also, let’s take a moment for the Gold Push-lock in cream lizard… oh my god.

I’m also obsessed with the Pushlock Lady bag in this gorgeous dark brown. What a beauty! Some other styles I adore are the belted bucket bags and the Pillow Hobo bag, which is the perfect everyday slouchy bag. These are all timeless classics from the brand that will always be in style.

Price range: $400–$795

Liffner bags are best for: The Scandinavian minimalist who wants logo-free, sculptural bags produced in Italy that feel like wearable modern art.

Aspinal of London

Aspinal of london review

If there’s one brand that gets to take home the name of quiet luxury, let it be Aspinal of London. This brand draws from English heritage and embodies timeless elegance. Quick little backstory on the name: the old English term ‘Aspen-well’ inspired ‘Aspinal’, which describes Aspen trees near a water well. Nature influences the brand, and their logo reflects this connection.

Aspinal of London has some of the most beautiful luxury handbags I’ve seen, and it would be a dream to own one in my collection one day. The Midi Mayfair has to be my most favorite style, and it comes in an astonishing 26 colors. This style in particular is known for their croc variations, which I just find to be so elevated. I also love the Hudson bag, it is so New York coded and has my name written all over it.

I also have my eye on the Zipped East West Tote with the iconic shield charm, soo beautiful and works great for a work bag as well! The Midi London Tote is also another classic. I love the cross-body strap style on this one, and feel like it’s such a perfect city bag.

One of my favorite aspects about Aspinal bags is their inner red lining on some of their bags (not all, mostly the black bags like this one) It reminds me of Louboutin and it’s just unbelievably classy.

Price range: $670–$1325+

Aspinal of London bags are best for: The woman who wants English heritage elegance with impeccable craftsmanship.

Mansur Gavriel

Designed in NYC and made in Italy, Mansur Gavriel has become a recent household name in quiet luxury.

They are most notably known for their style Candy Baguette, which is a compact & minimalist adaptation of their bestseller, the Candy Hobo. Sleek and designed for everyday ease, the Candy Baguette is crafted from Italian lambskin with a naturally wrinkled effect and foil finish with a suede lining.

And there’s a reason the Candy Hobo is a bestseller. What I love about this bag is that it tucks neatly under the arm and offers just enough room for your essentials. It’s the perfect little bag to run errands with, or pair with kitten heels for a cozy, intimate dinner. I also love that it comes in a few different colors, and my current favorite has to be the Paglia!

Some other styles I love from this brand are the Oversized Cloud Clutch, the Small Everyday Cabas, and the Everyday Soft Tote! The Everyday tote works great for traveling or over night stays, as it’s roomy enough to fit a laptop, blanket, neck pillow, and other travel essential items.

Price range: $445–$795

Mansur Gavriel bags are best for: The minimalist who wants NYC-cool design with Italian-made quality and a clean silhouette that works for everything from errands to evening.

Hammitt

Based in Los Angeles, Hammitt brings a touch of California to the world of luxury handbags. Defined by bold and creative expression, the brand states that their line is for those that are out for more than just a look—Hammitt’s a lifestyle.

While this brand is a little less “quiet luxury” and a bit more out there in terms of design, it is still one of those handbags you can carry that turns heads, but may not be immediately recognizable off the bat. That’s one of my favorite pats about the quiet luxury concept.

What sets them apart is their defining look: the signature studded hardware. While the rivets on the bag add a subtle edginess, the overall aesthetic remains clean, modern, and very chic.

Hammitt most notably places rivets neatly on each side of their bags. However, the brand has recently been experimenting with new placements across a number of new silhouettes. Their most famous style is the Kyle Medium bag, and I just love it in the classic black brushed gold zip color. They have so many variations of this bag, including small and large sizes, as well as different textures and prints.

Price range: $295–$475

Hammitt bags are best for: The woman who wants a little California edge in her quiet luxury, and signature studded hardware that turns heads.

Verafied NY

One of my favorite quiet luxury handbag brands as of late, Verafied NY has taken the fashion world by storm with their highly affordable, premium calf-leather bags.

There is so much that I love about Verafied, but my favorite aspect is that this brand follows timelesness and classic pieces over seasonal trends. You can style most of their bags for multiple occasions. This ties back to their ‘less is more’ vision and encourages conscious consumption, which I appreciate.

They have so many classic styles, but the most coveted ones are the Shoulder bag, which come in many different colors. They also have the Hobo bags, both in the mini and the regular. You may have even seen this suede one, as it took over NY’s fashion scene in late 2025!

Speaking of work bags, Verafied has one of the most beautiful and functional work bags I’ve seen. It’s the Book Tote Bag 33. I’m considering adding it to my collection and taking it to with me to work to see how it holds up!

Price range: $228–$400

Verafied NY bags are best for: The conscious shopper who wants premium calf leather at an incredibly accessible price point.

Final Thoughts

In the world of fashion, true quiet luxury isn’t about the price tag or the logo. It’s about the feeling you get from a piece that is masterfully crafted, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly aligned with your personal style.

Whether you are drawn to the classic lines of Savette, the artistic flair of Liffner, or the timeless romance of Paris/64, these brands offer the perfect blend of quality and understated style. Investing in one of these pieces is not just about acquiring a new accessory; it’s about celebrating the art of craftsmanship and curating a wardrobe that truly reflects who you are.

And if you decide to add one of these beauties into your collection, I’d love to hear about it! Leave a comment and tell me which of these quiet luxury handbags caught your eye. À bientôt!
